Unit living...

Day 52 - Chillaxing on the rug with Joseph. One of the Nurses at the Wes made it for Annie. It is orange satin with lots of butterflies...I love it!
Day 53 - The obligitory tummy tim. Even though Annie sleeps on her tummy we still give her tummy time most days...she needs all the strength she can develop in thast neck of hers!

Day 54 - Off to Currimundi Lake with some friends. I sat up at the table and Greg went down to the water with the children, then we swapped. Annie just chilled on her lambswool in the pram.

Day 55 - Sleeping soundly in the portacot...she is so compact!

Day 56 - We are starting to be more awake and alert now...hard to get a nice pic today!
Day 57 - Totally asleep and dead to the world. Could not have woken her if we had tried. Kids were screaming and playing in the pool just metres away and she lay there for an hour and a half!!

Day 58 - Auds has been bugging me for a bath with Annie...and since the unit sink is a bit small I conceded. They both had a lovely time! Home again tomorrow...

A Birthday and holidays....

Day 43 - Today Joseph turned 7...I can't believe he is 7 years older than Annie. He will be almost 25 at her 18th!!! I had Thomas by the time I was 25. I wonder what he will be doing!
Day 44 - Your first dress! I had to take the shoulders up as she is so narrow, and the pants fall straight off her, but I love it anyway! So does MrT.
Day 45 - Look at all that folding...all hers!
Day 47 - Annie loves her baths...she floats in a state of bliss the entire time and then cries when I take her out. Thomas took this photo!
Day 48 - Craig (a good friend from waaayyy back!) came over today for lunch. He even asked to hold Annie...she has that effect on people ;)

Day 49 - Off to the beach today...lets see if these little feet see any sand...I doubt they will...way too hot at the moment!

Day 50 - Aunty Sue came up for a visit before she went back to London! Annie loved her cuddles!
Day 51 -  I know this is not the best photo, but Annie is smiling and Audrey and her look so much alike!

And a happy new year!

Day 35 - My hungry little caterpillar...all decked out as such in her little suit from Aunty Sue!
Day 36 - She does this a lot...not sure what to call this one, the elephant or her Scarlette O'Hare pose!
Day 37-Had to include this image as well...so I skipped a day! I love her beady eyes...she really has to grow into them!
Day 38-Pretty in Pink!

Day 39- With my Nana at the twins baptism...at 90 she still has the touch...Annie was not grizzly for long in her expert arms.
Day 40 - Thomas is so besotted with Annie, it is just lovely. He holds her wth such relaxed arms, he is a real natural with her.

Day 41 - Next to Audrey's baby born...we'll have to take this one regularly to chart her growth!

Day 42 - Our first trip to the park...of course she slept for the majority of the time! She is with Aunty Kel here...my kiddies have lots of surrogate Aunties!

Merry Christmas!!!

Day 29 - Annie is so placid and rarely cries, even when she is hungry. She sleep a lot, more than the others, but that is to be expected with a premmie baby.

Day 30 - Off to Dr Holt today for a check up. Annie gained weight and is looking good. It is always so reassuring when you get the OK from the doctor, especially when you're breastfeeding.

Day 31 - Annie's first Christmas! Most of the day was spent napping. After the two and a half hours sleep I got the night before I was itching to nap myself! Here she is with Uncle Mark and Aunty Kareena.

Day 32 - Off to the movies today to see Avatar with Ra-ra and Grandad. Annie slept. She does the cutest poses. She held this for a good ten minutes!

Day 33 - Christmas Celebrations at Grandmas and Papa's tonight. We bathed Annie in the bathroom sink. She fit quite well to be honest...and it wasn;t a huge sink, she is just super petite!

Day 34 - Auds asked to have a phtot with Annie today. I love this shot. It amazes me how much older Audrey looks now that Annie is here.

Home Again, Home Again Jiggedy Jig!

Day 23 - Well we are home and life is good. I am spending a lot of time up in our room in the air con with Annie and Audrey. She is so excited about Annie being home. I hear her talking to her dollies the way I talk to Annie, it is just so adorable.

Day 24 - Just me and you baby! The kids are all on play dates so we are all alone...bliss!

Day 25...IS she not perfectly divine?

Day 26 - The Stare!

Day 27 - Baby yawns are just too adorable!

Day 28 - Family photo shoot today. I had to get a shot of Annie with her first clip!

The best presant we could have hoped for!

Let's Go Home!

Day 18 - Annie is feeding really well now. She loves to stare at us the whole time she is awake and pulls this face a lot. We call it 'Blue Steele' like Zoolander!

Day 19 - Still can't get over how tiny she is!

Annie Mel came for a visit tonight. She was so pleased to meet you!

Day 20  - These days they do a hearing test on all infants before they go home. The two little speakers on eac side let of a noise and the sticky sensor on the front picks up if the brain registers it. Annie passed with flying colours!

Day 21 - See how happy we are....that is because we are rooming in! Feeding round the clock now and loving that I can finally see he face without the plaster and tube!

Day 22 - Surprise!!! The peadiatrician came in the morning and decided that since Annie is doing so well she can go home a day early! The boys all came in to pick us up. The were so excited and doted on both of us non stop!
