She is a naughty little monkey!

Just after I posted last time about how well Annie was going with her weight...we had a dreadful month. I hurt my back putting her in the high chair, so I had to stop feeding her for a couple of days while I was on some medication for the pain. I tried to express but could not get very much milk at all. Meanwhile, Annie was not taking the bottle and only eating solids. We could deal with this, as long as she was getting some liqids and still a fair bit of food.
My back got better, but my milk was low. When I tried to put her back on the breast she refused, then she refused all food too! So I rang her pead, who put her straight into hospital on a tube. We had three nights in at the Wesley, with Annie screaming every time I tried to bottle feed her. Whatever she wouldn't take we put in her tube. She still was off all solids....but I don't blame her...the food they served her was atrocious. We discovered she was reacting to the lactose so we switched to lactose free formula.
They discharged us after a few days of fighting...sink or swim time. At best she would start feeding, at worst we would be back in the next week. She lost about 800g and was back down to 6.3 kg. She started to feed a little better...and is now going ok. She still has the appetite of a mouse though. A good feed is 100ml of milk. Sometimes she will take a bit more. She still only eats a couple of tablespoons of food, so my days are filled with popping a bit of food here and there into her mouth. We will go back to Johanna in a few weeks and have a weigh...
Meanwhile, you would think all this drama would slow her down developmentally...not so! She has cut four teeth in total now. One at 8 1/2 months, one at 9 months and the top two right on 10 months old. She also started pulling herself up to stand and is getting around very well now. Not quite crawling, but there are a lot less commando style movements!
