Awesome August!

Wow...what a month it has been for us! Annie is now sitting and crawling around commando style. She loves to play with all her noisy toys and presses buttons on whatever she can get her hands on. She is finally putting on some weight with the aid of Poly Joule Powder. It is a carbohydrate powder that is supposedly tasteless, but I think it makes everything taste a bit sweeter. She is now about 6.6kg...an 800g gain this month!
I put her on the grass for a quick pic and she immediately ate a handful!

She is always so happy after her naps!

I don't remember what this was...something exotic like banana chocolate pudding I bet :)

Look at those beautiful peepers!

I am sooo not wearing this mumma!

Having some yummy homemade cake...lemon coconut I believe it was!

June and July...

JUNE

Well it is definitely winter here in Brisbane. We have already cracked out the woollies and have even turned the heater on!

Always talking!

On location at a shoot with me...perfectly behaved in her pram!

Soooo adorable!

In her first party dress! Her Baptism was a few days later and I wanted to make sure I got a good shot of her in it!

Enjoying her very first crumpet!

All the family on her Baptism Day! Lorena and Ben Taylor are her Godparents.

JULY

Back at Shelley Beach in Caloundra with Ra ra...It was cold and very windy...we didn't spend much time at the beach that week.

Enjoying the Jumper!

First piece of Vegemite toast!

This is Gingie. My uncle gave him to her as a gift for her Baptism. He has become a favourite for the dreaded car trips!

Trying to crawl up the lawn...but only managing to go backwards!

Balloons!! I have never seen a baby get so excited by the things! She adores them!

Sitting up at the twins birthday party.

Still freezing!

Just so you know...and she does in twenty years...she is not perfect all the time ;)

Helping me out at another shoot...showing the other babies how it is done!

At the school fete...stimulation overload! She had a ball and had cuddles with no less than 20 different people throughout the day!

So I guess these are not a photo a day...but it does show how she grows. We had a bit of a health scare at her last check up. Her skull has fused early and we may have to have reconstructive surgery in 12 months. Luckily there are no chromosomal issues that are commonly associated with early fusing, so we have avoided the major surgery we were initially preparing for. It is going to be a little stressful waiting out the 12 months but any avoidance is welcome in our books!

More next month!
